ERW Steel Pipes

Longitudinally Welded Steel for Industrial Applications

Electric-resistance-welded steel pipes are produced by forming steel strip into a tubular section and joining its longitudinal edges using an electric-resistance welding process. ROSHA STEEL supports international steel slab sourcing through specification-based procurement, supplier coordination and international trade arrangements.

Steel Grades & Mechanical Properties

Reference: ASTM A53/A53M — Type E

Grade Minimum Yield Strength Minimum Tensile Strength
Grade A 205 MPa 330 MPa
Grade B 240 MPa 415 MPa

Chemical Composition

Reference Example: ASTM A53 Type E, Grade B

Element Reference Requirement
Carbon (C) 0.30% maximum
Manganese (Mn) 1.20% maximum
Phosphorus (P) 0.05% maximum
Sulfur (S) 0.045% maximum

The complete chemical requirements, including additional elements and permissible deviations, must be checked against the selected ASTM A53/A53M edition.
